Project Manager, Innovation Management

Our customers are predominantly large corporations and SMEs in the Nordic countries and other parts of Europe. We help our clients select the best ideas and partners, as well as build the innovation project and its business plan. We can also assist in managing the project. As a result, with radical innovations we assist our customer build a new € 100 M business. Since the founding of Spinverse in 2004, the total size of our project portfolio has been over 1 Billion Euros.

Spinverse employs over 50 international professionals at its offices in Finland, Sweden and Germany.

Now we are looking for new professionals to join our teams in Espoo and Stockholm:

 

Main Responsibilities

  • To form project ideas together with customers
  • To identify the most suitable public funding instruments
  • To assist and challenge customers in the preparation of project ideas (e.g. plans and budgeting)
  • To help prepare parts of the funding proposals as a team member
  • To communicate with customers and project partners, keep tight deadlines and stick to the budgets
  • To successfully lead project teams

Competencies required

  • M.Sc. or D.Sc., for example in engineering, industrial management, natural sciences or economics
  • At least 3 years’ work experience as a Project Manager with good planning and PM skills
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills in English (especially technology-related)
  • Fluency in English; Nordic languages, German, French and Spanish are considered a plus
  • Ability to interact with customers in a client-oriented way
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to challenge the customers
  • Quick adaptability to changing, fast-paced situations
  • Prioritization capability and attention to detail
  • Team-player

Additional beneficial skills

  • Industry experience and business mindset
  • Experience in EU projects and knowledge of EU funding instruments
  • Existing contact networks (Technology area or EU policy related)
  • Experience in sales and / or business development
  • CRM knowledge
  • Experience in team leadership
