The first 20 years of the Contact Forum recruitment fair were an annual effort by student volunteers. As the demand grew, a company, CF-Opiskelijamessut Oy, was founded in the background in order to develop the event at an even faster pace. The owners of CF-Opiskelijamessut Oy - six student organizations - take care that the event remains a link between students, graduates and companies.
Contact Forum has its roots in Otaniemi's Dipoli, from where the fair expanded to Cable Factory. Since 2016, the event has been organized at the Helsinki Messukeskus. In 2021, the Contact Forum was held virtually for the first time due to the corona virus. After Covid, the event has grown even more and broken old records.
Today, Contact Forum is one of Finland's largest career events, attracting more than 140 organizations and more than 7,000 visitors every year. The event offers students and graduates the opportunity to network and find jobs, and companies an opportunity to reach new talents and develop their employer image. Contact Forum is still organized at the Helsinki Fair Center, and the event has expanded to include versatile programs, such as CV clinics, photo booths, seminars and career coaching.
In the summer of 2024, CF-Opiskelijamessut Oy changed its name to CF Events Oy. This change reflects the company's expanded field of activity and new opportunities. CF Events Oy will continue to offer the opportunity to reach the highly educated talents you are looking for, as well as teachings and ideas, to show how you can more easily attract talented people to you and make them stay in your service even longer.
